There is also a golf course just outside the town.
Every resort has a great selection of eateries & the large ones will cater for the British tastebuds but as Turkish cuisine is so good,  holidaymakers will find a wealth of traditional restaurants offering the highest quality fare.

The Karpaz Peninsula has more than 45 beautiful beaches to explore from nearby Famagusta which although quieter than Kyrenia still has plenty of places to enjoy day & night. The ruins of Salamis reputed to be the best preserved in the whole Mediterranean region are just a short distance away.
Every resort has plenty of day trips & excursions to keep everyone happy, from boat trips swimming & snorkelling on the deep blue Med sea to scuba diving & paragliding.
